Karwan Afghan Restaurant

This is my first time here, and I love it! I’ve never tried Afghan food before, and this place really impressed me. The dumplings were flavorful—the marinated meat filling had a nice hint of herbs. I ordered the chicken kebab, and the chicken was tender and juicy, with a delicious marinade. The rice was soft, light, and fluffy. The dipping sauce was great. The portions were huge—I couldn’t finish everything! I also had the marinated lamb kabab, which was equally delicious. I tried their special ice cream, which had a unique flavor I had never tasted before. I didn’t love it, but it wasn’t bad either. The serving was quite large—definitely enough for two people. Overall, I really like this place and highly recommend it! The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the prices aren’t too expensive (around $20-$40+), but the quality is excellent. I’ll definitely come back!

Very flavourful Afghani food. Nice decor and lovely warm service. Went for dinner tonight and very glad to find such an amazing place close to home! Kebab plate had succulent meat and delicious rice. Naan by itself was so delicious. End your meal with their special tea and you wont regret.

My first time visit the restaurant and tried Afghan food Food was absolutely amazing 5/5 The kebab and beef mantu were juicy and well spices. Ambience of the restaurant is actually great. Definitely will get the food here again, but maybe order online then pick up rather then come in person. Give poor rating for the service tho. Seems like the waitresses are very very new, not aware of the food they sell. Needs to take my order multiple time and waited almost 40 minutes for the food, yet they serve the food for people who dine in first!. There's obviously a reason why I want a takeaway 🙄 But the kitchen lady came and fix the situation

Visited there several times, always very happy with food and atmosphere. Amazing Afgan food, friendly people and nice environment. Also, restaurant is getting better and nicer every time, they change pictures and textiles and improve menu. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

First time ever tried Afghan food, surprisingly good and delicious. Thanks for sister introduced this located in Brisbane restaurant. Services and foods are excellent. The only comment is the lamb fried rice, the lamb meat with bone would look great if it was on top of fried rice rather than totally hidden below the rice.
