Really tasty food!!
Got the smaller of the platters $49, salad $6 and dumplings $22. All the meats were tender and juicy, cooked to perfection with that chargrilled flavour that you just can’t replicate at home. I loved the dumplings but my partner wasn’t as much a fan as myself. We will get the larger platter next time and that will suffice I’d think. They are BYO with a bottle shop right next door.

This place was great! The food was so delicious, my favourite definitely being the Zereshk Pallow. Yum!! But the naan bread, oh baby. SO good! And a very good size for the price! My husband and I ordered a feast, and we got one! Highly recommended!

We dropped in after hearing hype from a few local area Facebook groups & im here to tell you that it was extraordinary!!!!
The food was next level good and the portions are huge.
We got a platter for that would have fed 3 easily, but we pushed through and got it done. 😂
All in all, go try this place, you cannot go wrong.
Relatively inexpensive considering the portion size too.

I had a positive experience at Karwan and would like to share some insights. The mixed grill was impressive,perfectly cooked with a nice depth of flavour. The naan was delightful, served fresh and hot, which added to the overall meal. The chicken karahi was also very good; it had a nice balance of spices and was tender.
The service was friendly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. I believe this restaurant is a great choice for anyone looking for authentic Afghan cuisine. I look forward to returning and trying more of the menu.

A wonderful meal we had there.
The place was packed when we went for dinner, and how did we not know of it before. The staff were very attentive despite the peak hour.
Honestly we didn't know what to expect but we thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes. If we have to fault, the rice is a bit oily.
